[Solved] How to Hide Apps via Screen Time in iOS 12

Part 1. How to Hide the Stock Apps via Screen Time in iOS 12

There are some stock apps on iPhone like Camera, Mail, Safari, FaceTime, Wallet, etc. you can hide. But note that there are some other stock apps like Settings, Photos, Health, which can’t be hidden on your device. Before hiding apps via Screen Time, ensure that you’ve upgraded to iOS 12.

Step 1. Open Settings app on your iOS device and go to “Screen Time” > “Content & Privacy Restrictions”. Then switch on “Content & Privacy Restrictions” in the next page.

Step 2. Tap on “Allowed Apps” and then turn off the switch next to each app you want to hide.

Now you’ve successfully hided apps in iOS 12. Simply check out on your screen. Note that they won’t even appear in the search result.

Tip: If you want to bring them back, just follow the above steps and then turn on the apps.

How to Hide Your Downloaded Apps in iOS 12

Step 1. As in the previous step, go to “Settings” > “Screen Time” > switch on “Content & Privacy Restrictions”.

Step 2. Tap on “Content Restrictions” and scroll down to click “Apps”.

Step 3. Click “Don’t Allow Apps” to conceal all of your downloaded apps on iPhone. 

If you don’t want to hide them anymore, simply follow the same steps and click “Allow All Apps”.
