How to Block Adult Content on iPhone X in iOS 12
According to Apple, iOS can filter website content to limit access to adult content in Safari and apps automatically on iPhone/iPad/iPod. But just in case, you’d better set the restriction for sure.
Once you update to iOS 12, you can find a new feature – Screen Time. This is the place where you can start to use the Parental Controls on iPhone. Content & Privacy Restrictions is disabled by default. Let’s turn it on first.
Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions, and enable it.
Here’s how to block adult content on iPhone X in iOS 12 (step-by-step guide):
Step 1: tap on Content Restrictions > Web Content, there are 3 options under the Web Content section: Unrestricted Access (this is selected by default), Limit Adult Websites and Allowed Websites Only.

Step 2: select “Limit Adult Websites” and the iPhone will limit access to many adult websites automatically. You can also add websites manually in “Always Allow” and “Never Allow”.

For further restriction, you can set it to “Allowed Websites Only” to block adult content and many others on iPhone. The list of Only Allow These Websites include: Apple – Start, CBeebies (by BBC), Discovery Kinds, Disney, PBS Kids, National Geographic – Kids and etc. You are allowed to add website to the list.
