iOS 12 has been officially released. You can enjoy all the new features of iOS 12 without using the Beta version. In this article, I will show you how to uninstall iOS 12 beta. You will find a good solution here whether you want to revert back to iOS 11 or install the stable version of iOS 12.

Uninstall iOS 12 Beta without Computer

If you simply don’t want to receive any iOS 12 beta updates and install the iOS 12 stable version, then you can do it on your iPhone and no data will be affected. All the apps will remain intact. To do that, you can simply remove the iOS 12 Beta Software Profile and install the iOS 12 stable updates.

If that sounds cool to you, follow the steps below to get started.

Step 1. Open the Settings app. Select General and scroll down to choose Profiles.

Step 2. Then you will see the profiles that you have installed. Select the iOS 12 Beta Software Profile and tap Remove Profile.

Step 3. Go back to General, and tap on Software Update to check for iOS 12 update.

Step 4. When the update is downloaded, start installing the update.

You need to make sure your iPhone battery is above 50% and the Wi-Fi network is well connected during checking update. In this way, you will not receive iOS 12 Beta update notification.

Remove iOS 12 Beta and Downgrade to iOS 11

After trying iOS 12 Beta, if you think it is suitable for your iPhone or iPad, you remove iOS 12 beta and go back to iOS 11. If you have a backup before updating to iOS 12, then you can restore to iOS 11 without data loss.

If you do not have a backup, no worries. You can still reverse iPhone update, but all the data will be lost. Therefore, it is highly recommended to backup your iPhone before downgrade or upgrade.

How to Back up iPhone Fast

If your iCloud has enough space to backup everything on your iPhone, then you should go to Settings > iCloud > iCloud Backup > Back Up Now to create a backup before rollback to iOS 11.

If there is no enough space in iCloud to back up all your photos, music, and videos or you want a faster way to backup iPhone, then you can use IOTransfer, iPhone manager software for Windows, to backup iPhone data in one-click.

Let’s see how it is done.

Step 1. Free download and install this software. Connect your iPhone to this PC via lightning cable. If your USB cable is not by your side, you can also try the AirTrans feature to backup your iPhone wirelessly.

Step 2. Open this software. It will automatically scan your iPhone and list all the data on the main screen. Uncheck the items that you do not want to include in the backup.

When the backup is done, you can check all the files on your computer. You can backup iPhone to external hard drive or anywhere else.

Rollback iPhone Update to iOS 11

Whether you have iTunes backup or not, you can use iTunes to uninstall iOS 12 and go back to iOS 11. Just follow the steps below.

Step 1. Delete the iOS 12 Beta Profile.

Step 2. Connect your iPhone to your PC and launch iTunes.

Step 3. Download the iOS 11 on your PC if you do not have an iTunes backup. You can go to ipsw.me and select your device and the available iOS version (the green one) to download it.

Step 4. For iTunes Restore, hold down Shift key and click Restore iPhone. If you do not have iTunes backup, hold down Shift key and click Check for Updates.check-updates.png
