Q: “How to share iPhone hotspot with PS4 because my own router fails me every time I try to connect the console to the internet!”

PS4 (PlayStation 4) is the 4th generation of Sony’s gaming console and has attracted more than 70 million people to buy in the past 5 years.

I’m also a big fan of PS4 and my favorite games are Battlefield series, the Last of Us, and Bloodborne.

However, like many of you, sometimes, I also meet annoying network problems. For example, no matter what DNS I use, in the connection test, the NAT Type always show “Fail” or even worse, I can’t get connected to the internet at all. In another case, people complain that they can’t get updated in some games for progress is stuck at 1% - For Honor is an example. In such cases, you may wonder how to connect ps4 to a mobile hotspot.

Luckily, there is an easy way to fix them both – sharing your phone’s hotspot with PS4. We don’t know how it works but I am pretty sure this way works in most cases as long as you don’t worry about high cellular data usage. If yours is 4G, it will be much better.

In this tutorial, I will basically introduce how to share iPhone hotspot with PS4 to have a stable network connection.
