Where Does iTunes Store Music on PC?

Part 1: Where Does iTunes Store Music on PC?

The iTunes Music’s location on a PC varies depending on the Windows version on your PC. In any case, one of the following links should directly take you to Music folder.

1. For Windows Vista use: C: / Users/ username/ Music/ iTunes/ iTunes Media/ Music

2. For Windows 7: C: / Users/ username/ My Music/ iTunes/ iTunes Media/ Music

3. For Windows 8: C: / Users/ username/ My Music/iTunes/ iTunes Media/ Music

4. For Windows 10: This PC/ Music/ iTunes/ iTunes Media/ Music

Part 2: How to Change iTunes Music Location?

By default, iTunes stores music and other media content in C: drive on your Windows PC. If you are running out of space on your computer or want to move music to other paths, you really need to know how to change iTunes Music location. It would be perfect for you to manage iTunes music and save your computer’s storage.

Step 1: Launch iTunes and connect your iDevice to PC.

Step 2: From the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, choose Edit and select Preferences.

Step 3: Click on the Preference Tab. Here you can see present iTunes Media folder location. To change iTunes Music location, you can click on Change button and choose a new location in pop-up files explores. Besides, you can also reset media folder to the default location by clicking Reset button.

Part 3: Easy Way to Transfer iTunes Music to iPhone

iPhone users frequently transfer a lot of music to iPhone. It would be inconvenient using iTunes. So I’m going to introduce an easy way to transfer iTunes music to iPhone by using IOTransfer iPhone manager.

Step 1 Preparation before Music Transfer
