Wiping all data from your iPhone is quite a big step to take, as doing this removes all the applications, photos, music and video files, email and other phone settings on your iPhone. There is every possibility that you will not be getting these information and data back if the data on your device isn't properly backed up.
The question then is, why will I want to wipe all the information stored on my iPhone? And how to wipe all data from iPhone?
Below are a few reasons why one will consider wiping all the data on his iPhone.
• The iPhone needs to be taken away for repairs
• The ownership of the phone is changing hands
• The iOS running on the phone is messing up and needs to be reset
There are several ways by which you can wipe all the data stored on your phone, but before you proceed, it is important that you sync your iPhone to a PC as this creates a backup of all the files stored on your iPhone. You could also back up the data on your iPhone using iCloud. This method is preferable are your data are backed up on the cloud, so even if anything happens to your PC, your files are still safe. Once the backup is complete, the next step is deciding how you intend to wipe the information on your iPhone. You can wipe all the data on your iPhone by using;
iTunes: You can wipe the data from your iPhone when you sync it with iTunes
iPhone: This is can be done from your iPhone settings
IOTransfer: Using the iOS clean feature on the application.
Below are the steps required to wipe all the data from your iPhone
Step 1: Click the Settings icon on the phone home screen
Step 2: Select General option
Step 3: In General scroll to the bottom and click on Reset
Step 4: Reset presents you with several options to wipe all the data on your iPhone. These options include;
a. Resetting all settings: returns all phone setting to default mode, your apps and data are still intact
b. Erase all settings and content: This is the option that is required to completely wipe up all the data stored on your iPhone. This option wipes your phone completely clean.
c. Other reset options include;
Network settings
Keyboard dictionary
Location and privacy
Home Screen Layout
Step 5: Confirm action and proceed.
Erasing all settings and content is highly recommended if you want to transfer ownership of your iPhone or if you want to send your iPhone out for repairs.

Step 1: Download and Install IOTransfer on your computer
Step 2: Connect your iPhone to PC
Step 3: Launch the IOTransfer app
Step 4: Select the Clean Tab at the top of the app

Step 5: In the Clean Tab hit the Scan My iPhone to check your phone to wipe unnecessary junk files on the iPhone.
