Previously we’ve discussed some cool iTunes functions and features. In this article we’ll list out some more handy tips to make the most out of iTunes.
Untick songs
Everyone has their personal favorite song-list which might not be appealing to the ears of people around them. In this case, you can make sure you untick those song and they won’t get added to Smart Playlists. Also make sure to select Match Only Checked Items in the Smart Playlist pop-up window.
Insert album art manually
There are certain cases when you rip a CD but iTunes can’t find the cover/album art. All you have to do is manually add album covers. First of all, download the cover art from any website. Highlight the song in iTunes and press Command + I (or Control + Click the track and choose Get Info). Now Click the Artwork tab and click Get Artwork. After that, use the Finder window to locate the artwork file and click Open.
Clean up duplicates
It looks messy when you have a lot of duplicate song titles in library. You can fix this issue quite easily. All you have to do is Click My Music, then view and then Click Show Duplicates. Now you’ll see the list of duplicates on one page. You can delete them easily.
Control iTunes with your iPhone
This tip comes in handy if you’re (lazy or) away from Mac/PC but still want to use iTunes. You can use apps like Remote to give you remote control over your Mac/PC.
