You must have many important Excel documents on your PC and you may want to transfer them into your iPad or iPhone, offering you a much more convenient way to view and edit them. Method 1: Transfer Excel from PC to iPad with IOTransfer

Step 1. Open IOTransfer on your PC, and then click ‘AIR-TRANS’ tab at the top menu.

Step 2. At the same time, open AirTrans app on your iPad and then click the icon of computer.

Step 3. Click ‘Start Transfer’ tab and then the tool will automatically search for the available iOS devices. Or you can manually connect iPad to computer by clicking ‘Scan QR’ tab in AirTrans app, and then scan the QR code in IOTransfer to connect.
Note: You may need to click ‘Allow’ on your iPad to finish the connection if it asks for permission.



Start Transferring Excel to iPad

Final Step. Click ‘Send to iPad’ tab in IOTransfer, and then choose Excel files from your PC to start the transfer.

Method 2: Transfer Excel from PC to iPad with Numbers App
Numbers is a spreadsheet application developed by Apple Inc. , enabling you to create beautiful spreadsheets that include impressive tables and images. It can be used in iCloud and iTunes. Now let us learn how to use it to transfer Excel documents to iPad via iCloud and iTunes.
Use Numbers App to Transfer Excel to iPad via iCloud
Numbers app works in iCloud and you only need to download it into your iPad. Then directly sign into iCloud and you can use it to transfer Excel files from PC to iPad via iCloud.
Step 1. Go to www.icloud.com and enter your Apple ID and password to sign into iCloud.

Step 2. Open Numbers app and then click the icon of upload to choose the Excel document you want to transfer from PC to iPad.




Once the previous steps are complete, you can login the same Apple ID on your iPad and then find the Excel file in Numbers app.
Use Numbers App to Transfer Excel from PC to iPad via iTunes
Numbers app can also be used in iTunes. Before the transfer, you must ensure that you have installed the Numbers app in your iPad. Then you can use it to successfully transfer your Excel document from PC to iPad via iTunes.
Step 1. Use USB cable to connect your iPad to PC and open iTunes.
Step 2. Click on the iPad icon and then choose ‘File Sharing’ under ‘Settings’.


Step 3. Choose Numbers app and click ‘Add File’ tab to select your Excel file on your computer. Then click ‘Save’ to start the transfer.


After that, you can open the Numbers app on your iPad and then view or edit your Excel file.
Besides the above two ways to transfer Excel documents from PC to iPad, you can also use OneDrive, Email, etc. to make it. Most of the means have been tried and I think IOTransfer is the best choice for me. It not only allows me to wirelessly transfer photos, videos, music and other document files from iPhone/iPad to PC, but also enables me to clean up my iPad for more space.
