2. choose iMessage

Stop Getting iMessage on Mac
If you change your mind, and want to stop using iMessage on your Mac, follow these steps:
· Messages > Preferences > Accounts
· deselect “Enable this account” and make sure it is displayed as Offline
· click “Sign Out”
Once you sign out, you will no longer get iMessage on your Mac until you re-enable it.
