If the photos are synced from PC to your iPhone via iTunes, then, it can’t be directly deleted from the device and you have to manually delete them via iTunes again.

Delete iPhone Photos within 3 Steps

Step 1 Connect the iPhone to PC

Install and launch IOTransfer, connect your iPhone to PC via a USB cable and wait until it’s recognized. If the notification “Trust This Computer” pops up on the iPhone’s display, tap on “Trust” to proceed.
