iOS 10 Public Beta: The Ultimate Guide

The latest version of iOS, the iOS 10 for all supported iPhones and iPads was unveiled on 13th September 2016.  The much-anticipated update brought with it many new features, such as the ability to use Siri from third-party apps, a Portrait Camera mode, and much more. With so many new facets, it can be hard to know where to begin to explore the possibilities. Luckily, this guide should help you discover all the new features in the iOS 10 Update.

Stickers:

The newest iOS update has been packed with loads of stickers. iMessage has its own store where you can download stickers, GIFS and more. For a starter, Apple included four sets of sticker packs already in iOS 10.

Bigger emoji:

One of the most noticeable feature upgrade is the ability to send a bigger emoji. What’s more! You can replace words with emojis easily in the message application.

Message effects:

The message application has been gifted with effects. The bubble and full screen effects are truly colorful and beautiful. You have a variety to choose from such as the balloons, the confetti or the firework etc. If you don’t think it’s working for you, you can disable it anytime.

GIFS:        

It is now possible to send gifs without hunting for a relevant one. It is totally built in. Furthermore, you can also send secret messages which can only be revealed in certain light. It is called Invisible Ink. 

Markup images:          

You can now finally markup images. You now have the access to edit and image as much as you like. 

Reactions:            

This feature enables us to quickly tapback and react to a message about how we feel just like how we react to posts on Facebook. 

Attachments:   

iOS is making it easy for the users to manage attachments that they send and receive in imessage. This way you can keep your phone free from trash.

Digital touch:         

You are now able to doodle or write whatever on the screen and it is sent to a conversation with the animation of how you drew it. This can be done to photos and videos as well.

App store:            

The App store in iOS 10 allows you to explore a wider range of games, applications, stickers, etc.

Selfies: 

iOS 10 has given the selfie freaks an opportunity to send an actual picture of their reaction to a message instead of gifs, stickers and bitmoji.

Music:        

The music has become simpler to use through the new iOS update. The redesign has now enabled the music application to add the song in “Play Next” instead of “Add to queue” it has now been built with such a support system that shows lyrics on screen so you can sing along to your favorite songs! 

Apple now also features optimize option on your Apple Music which makes managing space easier on your phone.

Photos:   

Through iOS 10, not only iMessage but Photos has also been upgraded heavily. The truth is, it has borrowed features a lot from Google photos. The positive difference is that instead of uploading all things on cloud, all photos are processed on the device itself.

Memories:       

An amazing iOS upgrade is the presence of memories. You can find albums of all kinds which are generated by the application itself. Think how you don’t have to worry about saving pictures from you trip to Hawaii in a separate album anymore.

iOS comes with some major features to manage your inbox and makes it easy to unsubscribe from newsletters.

Quick access to widgets:  

Thanks to this feature, you can now call up your favorite contacts without unlocking your phone. It also allows you to quickly reply to a message without opening the application.
