Importance of synchronizing

The settings of devices of that Apple have introduced to this world is amazing. There are people who use Apple as their trademark brand. They may use an iPhone as their mobile phone, I iPad as their tablet, iPod as their music device, and the MacBook as their PC. This situation makes us realize the importance of syncing messages between these devices. This relationship should exist especially between iPhone and Mac. This option was enabled on platforms of iOS and Mac OS X. It would be a convenient travel option for you to sync messages from iPhone to Mac. Prior to setting things up, you got to make sure that both the devices are being run using the same Apple ID.

Things to be done on your iOS device (The iPhone)

Prior to setting things up, you got to make sure that your iPhone has at least the iOS 6 enabled. This option was enabled through the iOS 6 and late versions. First, open the settings tab on the home screen. Search down for messages and once you come across messages make sure that your iMessage service is “on”. If you have enabled the iMessage service it will show a “send and receive” section right at the bottom. Tap on it for further details. Once you tap you will come across a descriptive screen which will state your details including the Apple ID right at the top of the page. You got to makes sure that the Apple ID which is being displayed is accurate and uniform. Once you confirm the Apple ID then you can select your preferred phone numbers and e-mail addresses which you wish to sync with. It is simple as that. Nothing complicated, all you got to do is to verify the details and make any corrections if there is any error.

Things to be done on your Mac

After setting things up on your iPhone, then you got to switch into the settings of your Mac book. It is simple as the previous sections too. First, you have to open the message tab within your Mac. Once you click the message tab you will come across the section "Preferences”. Under this section, you got to select the “accounts” tab right on the top.  Make sure that the details you have entered are correct. Enable the account once you have verified the details. Select the correct phone numbers and the email addresses you wish to Sync with.

The most important ground rule you got to follow when trying Syncing your messages from iPhone to Mac is consistency. This will avoid unnecessary problems and dilemmas throughout the procedure. You have to keep in mind the fact that only new iMessages will be synced, not the history.
