The latest iOS 11.3 for Apple iPhone and iPad is coming in this spring. Apple has released the beta update for developers. The first iOS 11.3 beta update introduces a lot new features, major changes include battery control, iCloud iMessage, more Animoji, updated Health app, new Airplay 2, ARKit augmented-reality, etc.

Best New Features in iOS 11.3

Here’s the major new features we’ve discovered in iOS 11.3 beta.

1.      Enhanced Battery Control

It has been revealed earlier iOS update always make older devices with aging batteries run slowly and has caused unexpected shutdowns. To response customers’ complaints, Apple has promised they will provide battery management in iOS 11.3. Users will be able to check the current battery status and choose to turn off features which would affect iPhone performance.

The new battery feature will be available for iPhone 6/6 Plus/6S, iPhone 7/7 Plus.

2.      New Animoji

If you are using iPhone X, then you won’t be unfamiliar with Animoji. With the Face ID sensing camera, you can control your facial expressions to create and send animated emotions to family or friends via iMessage. In iOS 11.3, you will find 4 new Animoji characters, they are lion, dragon, bear and skull. Including iOS 11 Animojis, now you can share 16 animated avatars. That’s a lot of fun.

3.      Messages will be on iCloud

After updating to iOS 11.3 beta, we discovered that Messages were kept on iCloud and synced to iPad and Mac. When you get new messages on iPhone, you can access them on your iPad or Mac with the same iCloud ID. You are able to view and delete Messages anywhere.

4.      New AirPlay 2

AirPlay was first introduced in iOS last year. In the latest develop iOS 11.3, AirPlay 2 is built in, which allows you steam music to multiple devices at the same time. Also you can control multiple Apple TVs in different rooms to play.
