How to Use AirDrop on iPhone in iOS 11

Like we mentioned above, you can share your photos, videos and other contents & files with other Apple devices nearby via AirDrop. In the following, let’s see how to use (send & receive) AirDrop in iOS 11 on iPhone.

Here, we take “sending photos via AirDrop” as example.

If you have updated to iOS 11, you’ll find that AirDrop is not in the Control Panel. Where is it, and how to activate AirDrop in iOS 11 Control Panel?

To open AirDrop in iOS 11 Control Panel,

·         enter the Control Panel by swiping up from the bottom of your iPhone screen

·         press and hold the Airplane Mode/Celluar Data/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth section

·         tap “AirDrop”, and you’ll have 3 options: Receiving Off, Contacts Only and Everyone

How to Send Photos via AirDrop in iOS 11

·         Open Photos app and choose the photos you want to share

·         tap the share button at the bottom-left of the screen

·         tap AirDrop and the user that you want to share the photos with

In terms of how to receive photos via AirDrop, it’s quite simple. When someone is trying to share photos with you via AirDrop, you will see an alert with a preview of the photos and you can choose Accept or Decline.
