Previously we’ve discussed the things to do before upgrading to iOS. In this article, we’ll discuss how to update your iOS device wirelessly or using iTunes. Assuming you’ve already made backup:
Install iOS 9 on iPhone/iPad/iPod touch directly from an iOS Device
This is the easiest (wireless) method to update your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch. You must ensure that the data network or Wi-Fi connection is stable and your device has at least 1.3GB of free space and is charged well over 50%.
how to install the update:
1) On the homepage of your iPhone iPad or iPod touch, open Settings and click the "General" option, and then select "Software Update".
2) Click the "Download and Install" button to begin download the iOS 9 (or latest iOS) installation package.
3) After the iOS 9 installation package is downloaded successfully, click "Install Now". Then your device will restart, and you can experience the latest iOS 9 immediately.
Install iOS 9 on iPhone/iPad/iPod touch via iTunes
If you prefer to update iOS using iTunes, follow this method:
1) Connect your device to your computer, wait for iTunes to launch automatically. If not, open it on your computer.
2) Select you device and click Summary.
3) If there is no notification about iOS 9, click on the "Check for Update” and then click "Update". When the download is complete, your device will restart and install the new version of iOS.
