4 Ways to Solve iPhone Photos Not Syncing to iCloud

When you're connected to the Internet, Wi-Fi, or a cellular network, you can upload and edit the files in real time. So you can always see the latest ones on your devices anytime and anywhere.

1. Make Sure You Have Enough iCloud Storage

When you set up iCloud, you are only provided with 5GB storage for free. After turning on iCloud Photo Library, you may quickly run out of the storage. If you run out of iCloud storage, the photos on your device won’t be backed up to iCloud. Therefore, when you encounter iPhone photos not syncing to iCloud, check the available iCloud storage at first.

·         If you're using iOS 10.3 or later, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud. Tap iCloud Storage or Manage Storage.

·         If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to Settings > iCloud > Storage.

If there is not enough free iCloud space, there are a few tricks to help you free up iCloud storage space.

2. Sign out and Sign in the iCloud Account Again

If you have enough free space in iCloud, try to sign out of your iCloud, restart your iPhone, sign back into iCloud, and then the photos on your phone should begin syncing.

3. Reset the Network Settings

iCloud updating needs Wi-Fi or stable Cellular network. If the photos are not syncing to iCloud, there might be something wrong with the network condition. You can take the following steps to reset iPhone network settings to solve the issue.

Go to Settings > General > Reset > tap Reset Network Settings. This reset will erase your saved Wi-Fi passwords, VPN settings on your iPhone.
