Follow the steps below to learn how to set iMessage settings properly.
1. Ensure both the message sender and the receiver have a stable Wi-Fi/cellular data network and both of them use iDevices.
2. Go to Settings > Messages > iMessage. Toggle it on
3. Toggle of Send as SMS. In this way, the message sent won’t be SMS anymore.
4. Tap on Send and Receive and a list of email addresses will appear.
5. Tick off the email via which you want to send and receive messages.
Now, go to Message App on your iPhone, send a message and check whether the contents are in a blue bubble. You will be prompted with a confirmation message when it’s been delivered successfully. Meanwhile, read receipts will be shown and you can find whether someone is replying at the time by checking the grey dots on the screen as well. That’s how iMessage makes a difference.
