How to Convert MP4 Video to MOV

MOV is a file format which was generated and developed by Apple Inc. since 1998. As Apple devices become more and more popular, many fans want to convert their videos to MOV files, so they can play them on Apple QuickTime Player.

In this article, we'll share several converters and introduce how to use them to convert MP4 video to MOV. Of course, you can use them to convert other video formats.

Step 2: Click the Add Files button to import the MP4 file you want to convert. MP4 is the default output format, scroll download the find the MOV format.

 If you want to directly import the converted MOV file to your iOS device, you can tick the "Automatically transfer the converted video into your iOS device" option before clicking the Convert Now button.

Or if you forgot to tick that option before converting, you can go to the Finished part to transfer the converted file to your device.

Step 1: Open ConvertFiles.com in your browser.

Step 2: Click Browse and choose a local MP4 file.

Step 3: The Input format will be selected automatically. If it is not correct, you can manually correct it.

Step 4: Click the triangle beside Output format, scroll download to select QuickTime Movie File (.mov).

Step 5: Click the Convert button to upload the MP4 file and convert it.

It may take a while due to the different size of original file.

Step 6: After the convert complete, follow the on-screen prompts to open the download page.

Step 7: Right-click the download link, and select Save File As to save the MOV to your computer.

Online Convert supports different formats. Here we take converting MP4 file to MOV file as an example.

Step 1: Open Video file converter in your browser.

Step 2: Select Convert to MOV on the left category.

Step 3: Click Choose File to choose a local MP4 file.

Step 4: Click the Start conversion button below.

Step 5: Wait until the uploading and conversion processes are completed.

Step 6: Click the Save button to save the converted video on the prompt notification.

 After converting the videos, you can use IOTransfer to import them to your iOS device.

Step 2: Connect your iOS device with a USB cable.

Step 4: Find the converted file on your computer and begin to transfer it. After it completes, you can enjoy the video file on your iOS device conveniently.
